Our speaker is a Christian Science practitioner from Boston, MA. Nate loves traveling and sharing insights into the universal power of God, and how this power can bring about good in our individual lives.
As a former media producer, Nate produced the award-winning “Daily Lift” podcast for The First Church of Christ, Scientist, the headquarters of the Christian Science church. Nate loves music, being out in nature and baking cakes for his friends. But he would say that his greatest passion is to help people through prayer.

Patricia works full time in the healing & prison ministries as a Christian Science practitioner and has pursued a lifelong career of learning about God, sharing Truth, and witnessing God’s love for mankind.
Jan 18 A new view of God and its effects on well-being
free talk: Sat, Jan 18 @ 11 A.M. in the Reading Room where we will stream in Phillip Hockley’s talk titled, A new view of God and its effects on well-being.
In the early 1990s, a fall that badly injured his spine started a seven-year downward spiral of ill health for Phillip. By 1999, after trying every alternative and spiritual healing method without any cure, he was registered as physically handicapped. Much against his own better judgment, he felt impelled to attend his first ever Christian Science lecture and the result was truly transforming. Not only was he healed, but more importantly, he was healed of his resistance to the message of the Bible, a message telling us of God’s great love for each one of us. We can ALL feel and live divine love, a heavenly love, here and now.

Mark is a Christian Science practitioner and teacher from Sandia Park, New Mexico. This lecture is all about the power of God’s love to heal. In it, I explore how feeling—how sensing spiritually—the presence of God as Love has the effect of bringing moments of wonderful inspiration and enlightenment, moments that actually reform and cure.
